Welcome to finding time for those more important things in life: Happy hour with friends, golfing after work, blowing bubbles with your kids, taking the mutts for a walk in the park, and reading at the coffee shop! Welcome to a home that’s not only clean, but safe for you, your family, including the fluffy ones.
We are Tosha and Allison. We began our business venture together in 2007, when we realized that we had a common love of Sour Patch Kids, strong Bloody Mary’s, and cleaning! And so the story begins…
Cleaning homes can be fun, but so dangerous to your health! After cleaning with the typical “cleaners”, we began to realize that the toxic fumes resulted in headaches and skin irritations. We found that the chemicals that we and our clients were using were the ones being locked away from the kids, and pets. Yet the very same products were being wiped around the surfaces where food was being prepared, and on the floors that the babies were crawling around on, and dropping toys on (prior to sticking them in their mouths)! This made no sense and immediately we needed a change.
Here began our quest to fight grime in a safe way. Purely Maid was created, and homes everywhere are happy. Purely Maid uses safe, non-toxic, eco-friendly products to clean, refresh, and rejuvenate.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- 1. What are your rates?
Purely Maid completes free in-home quotes with potential clients. Each home or business is quoted on individual wants and needs for that particular space.
- 2. How do we pay?
Payment can be left at the home or business in the form of a check made out to Purely Maid, or cash. Payment can also be made through your bank, and mailed to our office.
- 3. Why choose a “green” cleaning service?
Many cleaning products are toxic to family members, including the furry ones. Purely Maid provides products that are safe for all, including Mother Earth. Also, we choose product lines that do not test on animals, and are environmentally-responsible. If there are specific non-toxic product requests for a particular space, we are more that willing to use them.
- 4. How will you get into our home or business?
The choice is yours. You can provide a key, garage code, or simply leave a spare key under a door mat on that given day.
- 5. What if something is broken or damaged during the cleaning session?
Accidents do happen! We will report any damage immediately, and replace or fix it as soon as we can. Purely Maid is insured and bonded.
- 6. Do I need to be home during the cleaning session?
This is also a choice of yours. Some people prefer to be home, and some prefer to come home to a freshly clean space.
- 7. What do I do with my dog, cat, rabbit, ferret, chinchilla, snake, gerbil, toddler, or bird friend during this time?!
Furry friends can roam free in their space while we clean, as long as they don’t mind our company. Also remember to kennel them if they are scared of the vacuum, as we don’t want them to be uncomfortable in their own home. Toddlers should be taken along with their parent friend, or will be put to work!
- 8. How do I prepare my home for you to come clean?
There are no expectations, however the more surfaces we can get to, the more cleaning we can do. A light picking up or de-cluttering of spaces is appreciated. Then we can spend more time cleaning!
- 9. How often should I have you clean?
We typically clean bi-weekly, or once a month for our customers. Depending on your space, and the amount of maintenance you will do between our sessions determines how often we are needed. This is something that can be discussed during the quote. Purely Maid also provides clients with seasonal, pre and post-party, move-in/out sessions.
- 10. What time will you clean our home?
Our regular hours are between 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday. We provide a close estimated time of arrival, but time will vary depending on cleans prior to yours.
- 11. Do I have to sign a contract with Purely Maid?
We are confident that you will enjoy our services so much there would never be a need for a contract.
- 12. What if I need to cancel a session?
Cancellations are going to happen. We ask that you call, text, or email as soon as you know you need to cancel. If a cancellation is made less than 24 hours prior to the cleaning session, we reserve the right to charge a price of half the agreed upon quote of your space.
- 13. What all would you clean in my home or office?
Top to bottom cleaning will be done! Extra tasks can be discussed during the quote. .
